One night while out with friends, I made the decision to get in the car with someone who had been drinking. At just 17 years old, my life was changed forever when we hit a tree head on and I was instantly paralyzed from the waist down.

 

When my injury tried to steal my one love, dance, I fought back. Creating a space for women with disabilities to connect and dance together has shown that a fulfilling life is possible on the other side of tragedy.
